Accessibility
Last updated
We want ProAllocate to be usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology or who have visual, hearing, motor or cognitive impairments.
Our approach
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We have not yet carried out a formal accessibility audit, so we do not currently claim conformance with that standard. We will update this page when an audit has been completed.
In building ProAllocate, we aim to:
- support keyboard navigation throughout the site
- use sufficient colour contrast, and not rely on colour alone to convey meaning
- use meaningful headings, labels and link text
- allow text to be resized without loss of content or function
- provide text alternatives for meaningful images
Known limitations
Charts and data visualisations. Some charts may not yet have a full text equivalent.
Third-party documents. Research documents linked from ProAllocate, many of them PDFs, are hosted on managers’ own websites. Their accessibility is outside our control.
Embedded third-party content. Some features, such as podcast players or booking tools, are provided by other companies, and we cannot guarantee their accessibility.
Feedback and help
If you have difficulty using any part of ProAllocate, or need information in a different format, please contact us at support@proallocate.com. Tell us which page or feature you were using and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five working days.
Continuous improvement
We treat accessibility problems as defects and fix them as part of our normal development work. We review this statement when we make significant changes to the platform.
